I can see my toes again! Sorry, but that's a big deal for me. I know you're supposed to do the whole 'sleep when the baby sleeps' thing but I thought I'd jump on here while I have the chance. I'm being discharged today but I'm taking a little time off work, so my regular patients are getting transferred into the more than capable hands of my colleagues. I'm sure it won't be for long since we're short handed as it is but I'm taking whatever I can get.
Oh and I should probably say the obligatory hello to all the Europeans. I can't wait to check things out on your side. I've heard a lot of good things.

The library is definitely my new favourite place. It has all the Stephen King books I could possibly want to read, now that I actually have the time to.
And I think I'm officially done with trying to pick out baby names. Lets hope something comes to me in the next three weeks. Oh and does anyone have any cocoa butter? I'm all out and I'd be willing to trade you two pairs of skinny jeans for it.

I'm not sure if even Robert Downey Jr can get me to sit still for two hours. I feel like there should be an intermission with extra long movies. Like they have had in Bollywood. Time to stretch your legs, get more snacks and stave off pins and needles.

You wouldn't believe the amount of dust and grime that shelves can accumulate in just a few months. It took me about four hours but that's the military medlabs spotless. Oh and I re-alphabetized the medicine cupboards. I hope nobody minds. I might do the civilian hospital later in the week. And don't worry, I had today off. I wasn't spending a shift cleaning.
Does anyone know what the movie theater is playing this weekend? I think I have Friday night free and I feel like seeing something funny.

And I had no idea babies could hiccup in the womb. It feels so weird.

It would be really great if patients could stop wandering in and out of the hospitals. We don't actually have tracking devices installed in your ID bracelets so it makes it a little hard to figure out who's where. And that's when people miss their meds or get given the wrong ones. Besides, I just don't have the energy or inclination to chase around a bunch of people wearing, lets face it, unflattering gowns.
I promise that's as far as my nagging will go. At least for this week.
